About

Hello, my name is Fritz and I’m a husband, father, geek, and professional web developer, cyclist, and mega commuter.  I live in Colorful Colorado where I spend most of my time working in technology and figuring out how to travel on two wheels wherever I go.

I’ve been commuting into Denver by bus and train since I was a teenager and didn’t know how much traffic sucks until I took a job that was out of the way for any bus or train commute.  It was then that I realized how much time I wasted sitting in my car dealing with other angry distracted drivers.  I figured that my commute time was much better spent reading, connecting, sleeping, or playing mobile games instead of sitting alone, anxious, and overweight.  So, I decided to limit the car trips and enjoy my life rather then be another fat angry humanoid.

My bike is a modified Trek FX 7.4 and I commute 22.9 miles to work 2-3 times per week. My views during the ride include Mile High Stadium (go Broncos), Pepsi Center (go Nuggets/Avs), Elitch Gardens (was cooler on 38th Ave but this is nice too), and Downtown Denver.  I enjoy the Platte River trail although I also take advantage of the award winning transit system, RTD, where I’ve been lucky enough to work in the Information Technology department during the 90’s and early 2000’s.

This website was created to inform and entertain the visitor and hopefully create the spark that creates change in your life.  Please ride with me on this journey.  You won’t regret a single experience, I promise.
