Working from home has it’s perks (no shower and no interruptions) but sometimes you find yourself feeling down and out. Thats when it’s time to head out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. I found that I was going to loose a significant amount of money that I put into a transit flex spending account so I decided, after trying to spend it at my local RTD partner, I needed to spend the money at an official RTD sales outlet. I packed up and started a nice 11 mile bike ride and 5 mile bus ride into downtown to Union Station. This was just too good as I’ve been working from home for most of the week and haven’t seen the sun since, I don’t know when (big up to Johnny Cash). Cabin fever indeed. I decide to head downtown to get some lunch and my bus passes before this money expires. The trails of Colorado are always waiting and I just couldn’t resist.
Whole Foods is just weird
I got thirsty! Real thirsty! I wanted a bottle of water so I went into Whole Foods to buy a bottle of simple water. You would have thought that I was searching for lost treasure the way I walked in circles searching for a simple bottle of water. Apparently, Whole Foods has just about every other weird beverages that I can’t event pronounce. But was is way in the back of isle 12 (or was it 13). I finally found it after asking three people and then being pointed to the bottom shelf of the beverage isle. King Soopers, Safeway, and Walmart all put the water right up front making it simple to stick with the sugar free option. Not Whole Foods though. Life is just so hard! #firstworldproblems
